Literary true crime podcast-series about a mysterious death in an absurd museum.
Original music and audio editing for:
Jacob, dood in Qatar
When Dutch journalist Lex Boon is approached by art-detective Arthur Brand to investigate a mystery, he becomes involved in an intriguing case concerning the mysterious death of Jacob, who worked in the museum of a wealthy sheikh in Qatar.
Arthur and Lex soon come across Kees Wieringa, the former director of the museum, who published a revealing book about its toxic environment, as well as the strange evens that took place in the museum shortly after his departure. During their investigation, Arthur and Lex reconstruct Jacob's last months and discover a web of shady art trade, political tensions and personal conflicts in Qatar, a country with little freedom.

Storytelling podcasts are a composer’s playground
In 2018 I started editing, producing and scoring podcasts. Almost immediately I fell in love with the medium because - much like film - audio documentaries can benefit greatly from original music and properly crafted sound design. To go one step further: to me storytelling podcasts are a composer’s playground.
